I’m a huge Springsteen fan, friend.

So, I’m headed to his concert tomorrow night, and you can bet I’ll be Dancing in the Dark all night long.

Needless to say, I’m in the Springsteen spirit this week, so I couldn’t help but work in a few references to The Boss to this email. Read on and rock on!

Before I continue, if Springsteen isn't your thing, then I hope you'll at least chip in $5, $10 or even $25 to support my campaign here in IL-06 and help Democrats take back the House majority in 2024.

Folks, if we fail to build a strong campaign in the coming months, our Glory Days will surely be behind us.

Candidly, the GOP has plenty of Easy Money – enough to absolutely flood this district for the next 12 months. But we can’t just let this race be a Roll of the Dice; if we have any hope of retaking the House next November, we need to start building our war chest right away.

Of course, it would be easier to just sit back, listen to some Springsteen, and ignore the right-wing chaos in Washington. But this is the Real World, and there are real consequences to inaction.

There can be No Surrender to the GOP’s crusade against basic human rights and decency.

It’s on us to show that we’re Tougher Than The Rest when it comes to upholding our values and defending this district.

So please, will you pitch in $25 or whatever makes sense to you right now to help us get just One Step Up over the GOP in 2024?

Whether you were Born in the U.S.A or abroad (like me!), I know that everyone reading this has High Hopes that Better Days are ahead for our country.
