Hi John, Today is a very special day: It’s the 80th birthday of my dear friend and mentor, Congressman John Lewis. For his entire life, Rep. John Lewis has been on the frontlines of fighting for democracy and for the rights of all people to be able to cast their vote. Today as voting rights in Georgia and around the country are under attack, we need leadership from Congressman Lewis now more than ever. But we also need to be a part of the solution and step up to defend our precious democracy. That’s why I could think of no better way to celebrate Mr. Lewis’ birthday than by asking all of my supporters to pledge to vote in the 2020 elections. Will you sign the pledge, John?
 And after you sign the pledge, John, I encourage you to take a step back and appreciate that we all have the right to vote because of patriots like Rep. John Lewis who stood up and fought for our democracy. We can never take that for granted, and there will never be enough appreciation in the world for those who devoted their lives to fighting for our voices. Happy Birthday, Congressman Lewis.
