End Gun Violence Michigan joins the SUPGV network after merging with Michigan Coalition to Prevent Gun Violence.

Meet our new Board Member Rachel Jacoby. She's a MFOL organizer in Illinois and was instrumental in passing the Protect Illinois Communities Act.

We recently partnered with Grandparents Uniting for Gun Safety, a nationwide digital advocacy network. 

ILLINOIS: Governor Prirzker signs the Firearms Industry Restraining Act (FIRA) into law this week.

COLORADO: Citing the SCOTUS NY Bruen decision, a federal judge issued a preliminary injunction prohibiting enforcement of the new law establishing a minimum age of 21 for the purchase of any firearm.

CONNECTICUT:  A federal judge rejected a gun rights group's challenge to Connecticut's assault weapons ban.

OREGON: Measure 114 - ban on the sale or manufacture of large-capacity magazines and its requirement for a permit to purchase a gun - were ruled constitutional by a federal judge.

MICHIGAN: Our affiliate Michigan Coalition to Prevent Gun Violence (MCPGV) merges with End Gun Violence Michigan (EGVM). We send a heartfelt farewell and thanks to Christopher Smith, chair of MCPGV, and his board for their dedication and advocacy in Michigan.

SUPGV supports 31 state affiliates with education work, coalition building and policy change to address the gun violence epidemic. We are the only GVP organization in service to the states.
