Dear John xxxxxx,
The July 20 Congressional hearing
on censorship exposed the war on the First Amendment at the highest
level of the U.S. government. Mr. Kennedy showcased his unwavering
support for free speech and forceful condemnation of censorship, all
while calling on Congress to lead by example in healing the partisan
divide.
Reinvigorating the First Amendment is at the heart of this
Presidential campaign. Please join us for a virtual discussion with
Mr. Kennedy to examine how free speech became so embattled and how we
restore our most hallowed Constitutional rights.
Join Mr. Kennedy along with many
leading staunch advocates for the First Amendment for a virtual
conversation on Thursday, August 17 at 8 pm Eastern / 5
pm Pacific.
Journalist Sharyl Attkisson will
moderate the conversation between Mr. Kennedy and journalist Glenn
Greenwald, attorney Jenin Younes, and former New Jersey Assemblyman
Jamel Holley.
Each of these participants has been
a steadfast supporter of the First Amendment — Greenwald broke the
Edward Snowden story; Attkisson stood up to government intimidation;
Younes has represented plaintiffs in Missouri v. Biden; and Holley has stood for the free exercise
of religion in his state, even against the wrath of his political
party.
Please
mark your calendars and join us LIVE on Thursday, August 17 at 8 pm
Eastern / 5 pm Pacific for this inspiring event!
If you know someone passionate about the First Amendment
and free speech, please share this email with them and encourage them
to attend the online event!
All the best,
Team Kennedy https://www.kennedy24.com/
