John!
It’s a good day to be a
Forwardist. Our National Co-Chair, Christine Todd
Whitman, represented the Party at a press conference this morning,
where Philadelphia City Commissioner Seth Bluestein announced he will
become a Forward Party-affiliated candidate.
Bluestein, 34, is a lifelong
Philadelphian, a husband, a father, and now a
Forwardist. In recognition of
his work during the 2020 election to ensure free and fair elections in
Philly, during which the integrity of Pennsylvania’s elections were
under direct assault, the Center for Election Innovation &
Research gave Bluestein their 2022 “Defender of Democracy” Award. We
are so incredibly honored and proud to call him a Forward
Affiliate.
From Bluestein, “My job as Commissioner requires me to set
aside partisanship and work to ensure free, fair, and secure elections
for every voter in our city. Partnering with the Forward Party—an
organization committed to finding common ground among all voters and
building a people-first election system—sends a strong message to
every Philadelphian that I am putting the voters first. I remain a
registered Republican, someone committed to fiscal responsibility who
respects taxpayers, public safety, increasing opportunities for
success for all residents, and helping those who need it. But the job
of City Commissioner is about the competent and non-partisan running
of elections. We must never allow politics to infect our elections and
that is a belief the Forward Party and I share.”
With the backdrop of Independence
Hall, Forward Pennsylvania has now welcomed their THIRD publicly
affiliated official.
With your
support and engagement, we will continue building brick-by-brick a
national infrastructure focused on delivering a healthier democracy
for all Americans.

life.
Here’s to
many more days filled with future Forwardists.
Not Left. Not Right.
Forward.
