Susanna Gibson is a Nurse Practitioner with degrees from the University of Virginia and Columbia University. She was asked to be the Lead Nurse Practitioner for an entire division at the VCU Division of Geriatrics at just 30 years old. Susanna also has clinical experience in the ER, outpatient internal medicine, and obesity medicine, in addition to an intimate understanding of health care policy.

In reality, the GOP’s lies are an attempt to distract from the fact that her opponent, David Owen, has aligned himself with extremists like the Family Foundation, who maintain that life begins “from fertilization.”

This sexist attack proves once again that the Republican Party will go to any length to tear down accomplished, knowledgeable women who run for office.
