John,
Well, my campaign fell short, but for the first time I’ve ever run for any office, to get 24% in a state senate race and being outspent 3:1, I’m ok. I did what I set out to do and that’s give people a choice. At the end of the day, I have no regrets and can sleep well at night because I ran a clean campaign based on facts!
I want to say thank you to all my family, supporters, contributors, and volunteers. I could not have done this without you and felt a great responsibility to put in as much work as possible for every dollar given and time spent!
Maybe this will cause pause for people who are Republicans to look closer at who their representative is and what their record shows. We need more people to be involved in the process to vote and elect our officials, it’s what makes this country unique.
In good faith, congratulations to my opponent Nicole Boyd. All eyes are on you now more than ever to move the needle to the right and if you don’t I pray you’re challenged next time too.
I have learned so much I may write a book one day. I definitely know more about what some groups and people really stand for and I intend to maintain pressure on them if they don’t hold the conservative line. If they thought I would quietly go away, they’re wrong, I may have just begun the fight. The fight for smaller government, less taxation, and more freedom maintenance as per our constitution is where I can always be found.
I’m humbled by the words of encouragement throughout this experience and even now after. We live to fight another day…for America because we know our lady’s worth it.
Until next time, I will always be here as your Lafayette County and Mississippi brother if anyone ever needs me I’m not hard to find.
Sincerely,
