Hunting season is fast approaching. Whether you are planning on hunting moose, bear or deer, you should make sure your rifle is sighted in and ready for you and your season.
Do not wait for the last minute. Plan ahead and join us at the Summerhaven Range in Augusta at 211 Sanford Road or Fryeburg Shooting Range on Fish & Game Road during our scheduled hours to sight in your rifle and have the confidence that you are ready for a successful season.
Both of our State-owned Ranges are open when staffed with volunteer Range Staff Officers. Hours vary, and can be found online:
For Summerhaven although we do have weekend schedule time, weekdays are best to beat the crowds, if possible. The September Schedule will be posted soon, as we post one month at a time. Make sure to bring your firearms you are planning on using for your hunting, your admonition, eye and ear protection, and a paper target.
