I ran for Congress in 2022 as an auto-repair shop owner and a mom to represent Washington's 3rd District in the U.S. House. I came to Congress to stop extremism from taking over my district and my country. I knew that our next representative needed to be a true voice for our community – and that means finding real, workable solutions for Southwest Washington.

While I'm focused on getting things done in Congress, my right-wing opponent Joe Kent is still standing strong with the MAGA wing of his party. I am fighting tooth and nail to make sure working families and rural communities don't get left out in the cold. I'm working to fund rural broadband access and make child care more affordable for working families like mine.
I'm also committed to protecting reproductive freedom. The last thing women need is extreme politicians like Joe Kent standing between us and critical medical care. My opponent would outlaw abortion with no exceptions — even when a mother's life is at risk.
