Last night, voters delivered a decisive loss to Republicans in Ohio who were trying to make it harder to protect abortion access in the state.

Time and time again, we’ve seen that committing to protect and defend reproductive rights is a winning issue. Women and young people will always show up at the polls to protect their right to an abortion.

We saw it last year, when we were one of the only organizations to correctly predict that the loss of Roe would have a huge negative effect on Republicans in the midterms. Now we’ve seen it in statewide elections in Kansas, Montana, Kentucky, and Ohio — where each time, the people have voted to protect their rights.
