The Texas Music Office (TMO) and the City of Marble Falls co-hosted a Music Friendly Texas Community workshop on Tuesday, July 18. TMO Community Relations and Outreach Specialist Chip Adams was in attendance to explain the Music Friendly Texas Community designation and the benefits of becoming certified.

TMO Director Brendon Anthony received an award on behalf of the Texas Music Office's policy efforts and spoke on a panel during the second annual National Independent Venue Association (NIVA) Conference this year in Washington D.C.

The TMO returned to this year's?Newport Folk Festival?in Newport, RI, for?two sponsored official aftershow benefits. The Texas Music Office, along with our?partner,?Kessler Presents?from Dallas, TX, programmed?two nights of Texas music?at the Parlor Bar & Kitchen?to support the?Newport Festivals Foundation.

Texas Certified Incubator Venue Program
The Texas Certified Incubator Venue Program (TCIV) will open on 9.1.23, and applications will be accepted at that time by the TMO staff.
