It’s a hot labor summer as they say: from Starbucks to hotel workers to SAG-AFTRA, workers in a variety of industries across the country are rising up, unionizing, and demanding the pay, benefits, and working conditions they deserve from their powerful corporate employers.

Rob is always looking out for California’s working families. Last month, he joined a rally for UNITE Here Local 11 to stand with hotel workers, and this week, he stood up for workers’ rights by joining a coalition of 21 attorneys general to file a brief supporting former Saks department store workers harmed by the company’s no-hire agreements.

Saks made these agreements with other luxury brand companies like Gucci, Louis Vuitton, and Prada in order to prevent those brands from hiring former Saks employees, hurting workers’ opportunities for new employment.

The AG firmly believes that no-hire agreements are anti-worker and anticompetitive : they depress wages, reduce competition, and stifle workers’ mobility and ability to transition to a new job.

As a son of labor, Rob will always have your back. Let him know you’ve got his too by chipping in $5 or more to our people-powered campaign today. [[link removed]]
