Hi John,

We're less than 100 days out from the Ignatian Family Teach-In for Justice (IFTJ), ([link removed]) the largest annual Catholic justice gathering in the country! Perhaps you're wondering:
* Is this conference a good fit for me and/or my institution?
* Can non-Jesuit insitutions attend? (Spoiler: YES!)
* What can I expect during my time in D.C.?
* How should I prepare myself/my group for a fruitful experience?

Join us on Zoom for an open house with conference director Erin Brown as well as veteran attendees and group leaders for an informal session to learn more about the Teach-In, gain tips for bringing a school or parish group (or just yourself!), and have opportunities to ask questions.

IFTJ 2023 BASICS:
* WHEN/WHERE: October 28-30, Washington Hilton in Washington, D.C.

* WHO: 2,000 attendees from Jesuit and other Catholic high schools, colleges, and parishes and individuals who see faith+justice as integrally linked. PLUS incredible keynotes, including Rev. Dr. William J. Barber, ([link removed]) visionary civil rights activist and president of Repairers of the Breach; Sr. Norma Pimentel, M.J. ([link removed]) migration activist, border humanitarian, and executive director of Catholic Charities - Rio Grande Valley; Ellie Hidalgo ([link removed]) , prophetic advocate for an inclusive church and co-director of Discerning Deacons, and *just announced!* Fr. Bryan Massingale ([link removed]) , racial justice scholar (Solidarity on Tap and large-scale breakout session presenter).

* WHAT: Spend 2 intensive days with 30+ speakers, 40+ breakouts, 50+ exhibitors, and opportunities for prayer, reflection, and connecting with fellow attendees. The experience culminates in an optional (but strongly encouraged) advocacy day on Capitol Hill.

* WHY: That's for you to decide! Our participants walk away with new ideas, community, and revitalized energy and tools to continue working for a more just world.
