Sister District DC/VA is ramping up for 2020! Feeling frustrated by the news cycle? The impeachment trial results got you down? Overwhelmed and want to do something to help right now?
Please join us at the Outrage on Friday, March 13th at 6 p.m. with Special Guest Gaby Goldstein, Sister District co-founder&political director, to find out how state elections can help Democrats everywhere during this critical year.
(And yes, there will be drinks! Come have one and learn about redistricting, lending support to state level candidates in presidential battleground states, and more!)
Every dollar donated, every phone call made, and every door knocked makes a difference in a state level race. Any hour you can give is extremely valuable, so we hope you'll volunteer with our chapter in whatever capacity you can!
Can't join us on the 13th, but want to do something to help in the immediate future? Sister District is also supporting an upcoming special election race in Pennsylvania to get Harold Hayes elected to the Pennsylvania house.
Why this race, and why now? Democrats need to win 9 House seats to flip the chamber blue, and momentum is on our side: in 2018, Democrats broke a Republican supermajority in the Senate and flipped a dozen State House seats. If Harold wins, that will put us one seat closer. Learn more about Harold here, and you can also donate to his campaign!
