This is because of Senator Tommy Tuberville’s military blockade — a political stunt put on by a single Member of Congress — which is putting our national security at risk.

That isn’t the only position left vacant either. Senator Tuberville’s solo blockade of nominee confirmations has left nearly 250 military leadership posts without an appointee.

Servicemembers and our national security should never be used as political pawns. Senator Tuberville’s decision to gridlock this critically important military process for his own political gain is irresponsible, and must be stopped.
