Let us pray


As many of you know the islands of Maui and Hawaiʻi have been ravaged by wildfires, fueled by the high winds. The communities of Kihei, Kula and Lahaina have been devastated. Hawaiʻi Island has also sustained damage along the Kohala Coast.

The impact of this disaster is immeasurable, and we recognize that words cannot fully convey the extent of the sorrow that has affected so many lives.

We want to extend our unwavering support and solidarity to all those who have been affected, directly or indirectly. Our thoughts are with the families who are searching for and may have lost loved ones, who have lost their homes and cherished belongings, the business owners who have seen their hard work reduced to ashes, and the communities that have been forever altered by this devastating event.

I encourage you all to stay in prayer today and reach out to your fellow community members to see if you can help in any way.
