Fonk Road Closed Thursday, August 10, 2023

Fonk Road, south of Beaver Lake in Mount Vernon, will be closed on Thursday, August 10, 2023, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM to allow for the roads crew to finish restoring access after installing a new culvert replacement pipe.

There will be an additional closure of Fonk Road for one week sometime during the month of September to install a series overflow pipes. A notice will be released when the next closure date is finalized.

We ask the public to please steer clear of the construction zone while the access area is closed so the repairs can be finished as quickly as possible.
