No one should be forced to work two, three or sometimes even four jobs just to put food on the table for their families. But that’s the reality for millions of Americans – all because the minimum wage hasn’t been raised in more than a decade to keep up with skyrocketing costs of living.
In the House, my colleagues and I passed legislation to right this wrong by raising the minimum wage – but our critical bill has sat collecting dust in the Senate ever since. We need to demand an end to this inaction, and I’m counting on your help.
