Every year, tens of thousands of wild horses and donkeys are brutally
removed from their territory by the US government -- to make space for
industrial-level livestock grazing.

The government spends more than $80 million USD every year just to round
up the animals and hold them in government holding facilities. Animals
that aren’t adopted or auctioned off are “warehoused” in long-term holding
facilities or sent off to slaughterhouses in Canada and Mexico.

We can end the torture and murder of these majestic animals. Add your name

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), an agency within the U.S. Department
of the Interior, is in charge of managing these wild mustangs, a beloved
symbol of freedom. And every year, they spend $80 million in taxpayer
dollars to round up and remove them -- using low-flying helicopters to
brutally stampede and capture the animals by the thousands.

Horses that end up in the slaughter pipeline suffer long journeys to
plants in Mexico and Canada, as horse slaughter plants have been banned in
the U.S. since 2007. During transportation, the animals are without
adequate food, water, or space for rest before they meet their brutal and
terrifying end.

It’s not only the horses and donkeys that fall victim to the profit greed
of commercial livestock farming. Mountain lions, natural predators to the
mustangs and regulators of the wild horse population, are also hunted and
killed to protect livestock.

Together we can bring an end to this senseless animal cruelty for profit
