INFORMATION MANAGEMENT

The WDE has rolled over the SIF operational data store to 2023-24. After rolling over the district calendar and restarting the SIF agent, it will be in sync with the WDE to receive WISER Ids for the incoming students and exchange data for the coming year. When using Infinite Campus, the Zone Info screen for the WINDS connection should specify the 2023-24 school year. When using PowerSchool, the New Year Rollover (NYR) on your Powerschool SIF agent must be completed. This requires a separate step from rolling over the PowerSchool SIS. Lastly, restart the agent.

The Seal of Biliteracy Coordinator role has been added to this year?s WDE609 School District Program Contacts collection. Although not all districts have a seal of biliteracy program, the WDE will need a district contact should any related inquiries be received from parents in the district.

The WDE has two consecutive years of growth data and is able to produce the individualized student growth reports. Reports will be made available to districts upon request. To request district reports, or for more information, contact Susan Williams at 307-777-6252 or [email protected].

While adding new students to the SIS for the upcoming school year, review the WISER System for ambiguous matches that will need to be resolved to clear missing WISER ID errors on the WINDS error report.

Important Dates:
August 10-23: Confidential School Performance Report review window.
September 1: Public release of Assessment Data and School Performance Reports.
September 6: Joint Assessment and Accountability press event.
