Democrats,
The Central Valley is my home. Raised by my grandmother and mother, both two strong women, I learned the value of hard work and determination and eventually became the first in my family to graduate from UCLA. Now, as the first Latina Organizing Director for CADEM, I am honored to work with our vibrant Latino community that strengthens the Democratic Party.
Field organizing in the Central Valley will be crucial in the 2024 elections where Latino voters play a pivotal role in determining the outcomes of key House races that impact the leadership of our country. It is our responsibility to invest early in our targeted regions, engage with communities and get voters to the polls in November 2024.
To achieve this, CADEM is proud to announce our VOTA program that will launch in the Fall of 2023 and focus on Latino outreach and organizing in key regions of California.
Join us for “Cafecito VOTA” during this year's Executive Board Meeting in Visalia. The kick-off event features esteemed panelists and moderators, including Assemblymember Esmeralda Soria, Bakersfield City Councilmember Eric Arias, CADEM Organizing Director Cassandra Chavez, and CADEM Executive Director Yvette Martinez.
