Ruth's List Endorses Stephanie Vanos for Orange County School Board, District 6
Vanos Would Bring Deep Experience and Passion for Public Education to the 8th Largest School District in the Nation
Orange County, FL. — Ruth’s List Florida, Inc [ruthslistfl.org] ., the state’s only organization dedicated to electing Democratic pro-choice women in Florida, today announced its endorsement of Stephanie Vanos for Orange County School Board, District 6.
Ruth’s List is one of Vanos’s first organizational endorsements. She is running for an open seat, currently held by Ruth’s List alumna, Karen Castor Dentel. Over the last ten years, Stephanie has worked with school board members, teachers, parents, and the community on numerous local education issues. She has served on the Education Committee for the League of Women Voters in Orange County, as Vice President of the Democratic Public Education Caucus of Florida, and is the founder and Chair of the Help Out Public Education (HOPE) political committee, which helps public education supportive candidates win school board elections across the state.
