Exciting news! We're thrilled to be introducing the NJDSC Youth Texting Bank, an incredible opportunity for you to make a real impact on our upcoming (and crucial!) election this November. As the Youth Coordinator of the New Jersey Democratic State Committee, I'm excited to invite you to join us and be a part of this vital campaign to mobilize young voters from across our state to turn out to vote! Plus, we’ll be giving away prizes to our top text bankers!

Event Details:

Date: Starting Monday, August 14th and every Monday thereafter 

Time: 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM

Location: Virtual (via Zoom) - link will be sent upon registration

In this digital age, texting has become an effective way to engage with our community and encourage active participation in the democratic process. As young Democrats, we have the power to mobilize our peers and make a difference. No prior experience is required either – all you need is your enthusiasm and dedication to the cause, access to a smartphone, computer, or tablet, and a stable internet connection or Wi-Fi!

How It Will Work:
Training Session: We'll kick off each session with a short training where we'll provide you with the necessary tools and a script to ensure you feel confident and prepared.

Text Bank: Right after the training, we'll get started with our texting campaign. You'll have the chance to connect with targeted young Democrats and encourage them to vote in the upcoming election.

Same-Day Action: We're all about efficiency and impact! The training and texting will happen on the same day, so you can immediately put your new skills to use.
