General Convention voted in 2018 -- contingent on certain conditions -- to welcome La Iglesia Episcopal de Cuba back into the Episcopal Church after half a century. The conditions have been met, and Executive Council joyfully welcomed the Diocese of Cuba at its February meeting.

General Convention 2024 set for Louisville

The Kentucky city was chosen over two other finalists, Detroit and San Juan, Puerto Rico. Louisville is within a day's drive of 60% of the country. It will be the first General Convention in Province IV since the 1982 meeting in New Orleans.
