Fighting for Kansans in the Big First is my top priority, and each year, I host a town hall in every county of the Big First to get my marching orders. I've hosted at least one town hall in every county of the Big First each year, for a total of 186 town halls over the past three years.
Last week, I concluded the third annual Mann Listening Tour. In three days, we traveled 800 miles and hosted 16 town halls. In each of the 60 town halls that I hosted this year, Kansans expressed concerns about big government overreach, the federal government’s wasteful spending, burdensome taxes on small businesses, the border crisis, the nationwide spike in violent crime, and the infringement on basic rights like the Second Amendment and the right to life.
There’s a lot of work to be done, but I believe that with some Kansas common sense, hard work, and prayer, our brightest days are yet to come.
