Even though Lizzie was in D.C. for most of July working to get things done for our district, our team was out and about all across TX-07.  We were meeting and working with voters, volunteers, and Democratic leaders and organizers to make sure we’re ready for 2024.  After all, campaigns are year-round efforts!

Our interns have been hard at work this summer helping us stay organized and expand our campaign’s reach. 

As part of our Democracy Summer fellowship program, our interns are getting the word out about Lizzie, her work in Congress, and why it’s so important that we send her back to the House next year.  They’re also sharing our message across the district about what’s at stake in the 2024 elections—from the future of voting rights to reproductive rights—and the importance of getting involved in races up and down the ballot. 

We want to tell you about a new leadership role Lizzie is taking on in Congress—she’s leading battleground fundraising efforts for 2024!  In this role, Lizzie will work to make sure Democrats facing tough races in 2024—races that will be key to deciding control of the House—have the financial resources they need to run strong campaigns and win. 

We’ve talked a bit about our efforts to not only re-elect Lizzie but to also help other strong leaders like her win their elections, too, and Lizzie’s battleground fundraising efforts will be key to making that happen.

We need good leaders at every level of government—that’s why it’s so important to elect Democrats at home, throughout Texas, and across the country.  As a dedicated member of #TeamLizzie, you’re essential to that work and we’re so grateful for all you do.  We’ll be in touch soon with all the ways you can help support Lizzie and more Democrats in 2024!
