On this day in 1786, Congress passed a resolution establishing the basis of the country’s monetary system and just how the new “dollar” would be divided up.

That dollar would become the world’s most dominant currency.

But it’s been weakened by President Joe Biden's reckless inflationary policies, and Hoosiers and all Americans are paying the price.
