I wanted to pass along my latest update on what I have been doing to fight for you, Texas’ 21st Congressional district, and our country as a whole:

Holding the DOJ and DHS accountable
The situation on our southern border is completely out of control. While Governor Abbott has taken action to try and divert migrants from illegally crossing our border, the Biden administration is only working against the people of Texas! The result? Dead Texans and migrants. The Department of Justice and Homeland Security should not receive a single taxpayer dollar until they actually do their job.

Fighting for COVID accountability
Last week, I led the charge with 19 of my colleagues to better protect Americans during the next pandemic. We formally called on Speaker McCarthy to reform the Pandemic and All-Hazards Preparedness Reauthorization Act. The COVID-19 pandemic exposed the tyrannical swing our government can take. Locking down churches, keeping kids out of schools and forcing experimental vaccines on people goes against what our country was founded on. It is time for the House GOP to pass legislation to make sure this never happens again.

Fighting to reform higher education
Student loans are out of hand. The worst part? Colleges have no accountability for all the debt they’re pushing on young Americans – this needs to change. That's why I am introducing the Higher Education Reform and Opportunity (HERO) Act to bring transparency, accountability and competition to higher education. It’s past time for universities to have some skin in the game and stop putting never-ending debt on future generations.

The deadly costs of Biden’s Israel policy
The Biden administration has completely turned their back on Israel – one of our country's greatest allies. As my friend Victoria Coates and I wrote in National Review last week, terror is at an all-time high in Israel, and President Biden is getting exactly what he paid for. This has been the deadliest year for Israel and Palestine in decades. Biden has sent over $1 billion in taxpayer-funded foreign aid to Palestine, and it has done nothing to improve peace in the Middle East. That’s why Congress must step in to restore our policy posture towards Israel.
