Since announcing last week our plan to air a damning TV ad on Fox News
exposing Trump's crimes and the MAGA GOP's support of his attempted coup,
MoveOn members rushed to help us raise the resources required to move
forward with the ad's creative development.
But airing a television ad during a prime-time presidential debate is
expensive—and we need to raise an additional $100,000 just to get our ad
on the air.
We have just two weeks until the first GOP debate, John. Which
means we have even less time to raise the funds necessary to buy the
prime-time ad spots in Iowa and New Hampshire—the states that will vote
first in the presidential primary.

the first Republican debate and power our long-term work to defeat MAGA in
2024? If we raise enough money, we will negotiate the airtime and invest
any remaining funds into ensuring Trump and MAGA never step foot in the
Oval Office.
Millions of Republicans will be tuned in to watch the GOP debates, which
gives us a critical opportunity to break through the Fox propaganda
machine and get the truth to them about Trump's explosive indictment last
week for attempting to overthrow our democracy.
Despite Trump's being indicted for the third time—now for attempting to
overthrow the will of the voters—he is crushing the other candidates for
the Republican nomination.^1
But all isn't lost.
More than 63% of Americans have an unfavorable view of Trump, and that was
before this last indictment.^2 If we get the truth out, Trump will be on
the ropes, so we need to step up our efforts right now.
Running an ad to expose MAGA's complicity in enabling Trump's crime and
his attempted coup for millions of viewers to see is one way to hold him
accountable. But because MoveOn is a grassroots organization, we can't do
this without you.

Our country cannot afford another four years of Trump and his far-right

let Trump's GOP have the final say over our rights, freedoms, and
democracy (or lack thereof).
Running this ad gives us a chance to illuminate Trump's dangerous
transgressions that have harmed Americans, and that of those who helped
him along the way.
