Donald Trump just walked off the stage at his rally in Colorado Springs, John, and I want to make this very clear:

What he said on that stage tonight was despicable. He spewed the same old hateful rhetoric and false promises that we've heard time and again. It's clear that Trump has no shred of intention to actually help working families across America.

Together, we can defeat Trump, his favorite Colorado Senator Cory Gardner, and the rest of their allies. But 2020 is already underway, John, and we have to redouble our efforts immediately. With under five months until the general election begins in earnest, we urgently need to pick up our fundraising pace. If we don’t see a dramatic uptick in support soon, we could lose critical ground before Democratic voters have officially selected our party’s nominee.
