Mitch McConnell is 81 years old, making him one of the oldest members of
the Senate. Many, including his own constituents, are worried about his
ability to perform his duties after spending nearly half a century in the
Senate representing them.

This comes after Mitch McConnell has repeatedly gone against the majority
of Americans in supporting total abortion bans, gutting social security,
restricting Medicare and Medicaid, and dismantling civil rights.

This is the 2nd oldest Senate in terms of average age in the history of
the United States and if McConnell were to run for re-election he would be
90 at the end of his term.
