John, I’m sure you saw the Alabama GOP-dominated state legislature's decision last month to further suppress the Black vote while also flouting the Supreme Court.

The decision does two things:

Redraws our districts WITHOUT creating a second Black-majority district in violation of the Voting Rights Act and the Supreme Court order.
Sends Montgomery — an iconic civil rights city — to a district represented by a MAGA.

This is all part of the GOP’s gameplan to suppress the vote. They rig maps in their favor and then pour millions of dollars of their dark money into the districts that become vulnerable to their attacks as a result.
