Diane Morgan here, National Mobilization Coordinator for Our Revolution. I’m writing to you from my home state of Ohio — where we have 48 hours to win a crucial fight against anti-abortion extremists. Will you rush a contribution of 10 right now so we can mobilize our supporters and defeat this right-wing attack?
Right now in Ohio, anti-abortion politicians and their billionaire backers are trying to change the state constitution in order to block a November ballot measure to protect abortion rights — and the mainstream media isn’t paying any attention.
The vast majority of my fellow Ohioans oppose our state’s draconian abortion ban, but that hasn’t stopped our opponents from spending MILLIONS of taxpayer dollars to call a special election to try to change the rules.
They’ve intentionally called this special election for this Tuesday, in the dead of summer — in the hopes that nobody is paying attention, because they know that their extremist, anti-abortion views won’t win if a majority of Ohioans turn out to vote.
