There's still time to submit your writing or art to Flash Futures PNW: A Climate Fiction & Art Contest! Contest winners will have their work published in a zine launched next the spring. The top three winners in each category will also receive cash prizes. This contest is hosted by Breach Collective, 350PDX, Oregon Physicians for Social Responsibility, and Portland Neighbors Welcome. The deadline for submissions in August 31.

Why this contest?

Organizing for climate justice is deep, imaginative work. We’re up against massive obstacles, and not just climate change itself. White supremacy, colonialism, capitalism, and other systems of oppression are all root causes at play. Through creativity, we can dream up a future where we are in harmonious relationship with the Earth and each other. We hope this contest helps!
