For millions of children living in poverty in rural America, the summer months mean losing up to two months of what they learned during the school year — along with the end of important resources they receive during the school year such as access to books.
Since 2014, Penguin Random House and Save the Children have worked together to nurture the next generation of readers — ensuring that even the most vulnerable children have access to books to help them discover the joys of reading and the opportunity to realize their full potential.
Thank you for taking a moment to learn more about this critical issue and what our work with Penguin Random House does to support children in need. Together, we can and will #MakeSummerFair for all children!
