Two years ago, I stood in front of the Senate and told the American people that Donald Trump needed to be held accountable for inciting the insurrection on January 6th.
Last week, Donald Trump was officially indicted by the Department of Justice with four felony counts alleging a conspiracy to overturn our election.
I’ve read Jack Smith’s indictment and the allegations are incredibly damning. While Trump remains innocent until proven guilty, no one is above the law and we need to allow the judicial process to run its course. I will be watching very closely.
