As the former President of WAVE, I fought tirelessly to protect reproductive choice.

Now, the right to get an abortion is under attack across the country. The majority-conservative Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade a little over a year ago, and since then, dozens of states have stripped women’s rights away.

This is deeply concerning, and even more concerning is national Republicans’ plans to enact a nationwide abortion ban if they succeed in winning the Presidency and Congress.

Former Vice President Mike Pence, among other GOP presidential candidates, have publicly stated that they support a nationwide 15-week abortion ban -- a time where a lot of women may not even realize they are pregnant. This is dangerous, and it makes winning our campaign in CA-47 even more critical.

Our likely Republican opponent Scott Baugh, who narrowly lost to Katie Porter in 2022, openly supports a nationwide abortion ban with no exceptions even for rape or incest. You can be sure he will be a rubber stamp for the far right on this issue.

Winning in our district is key to taking back the House majority for Democrats and putting an end to the Republicans’ dream of a national abortion ban. Will you support our grassroots campaign today with a $3 donation?
