At Tuesday night’s second candidate forum , when asked what Trump has done that is racist, Morgan stated he signed legislation that makes it legal to charge black people higher interest rates on car loans — this legislation was co-sponsored by Rep. Joyce Beatty.

Morgan held firm to her values with conviction and forced her opponent to take responsibility for legislation that carried out Trump’s racist agenda. She also held her opponent accountable for taking money from corporate PACs and for failing in her duty to stand up for the safety and dignity of the people of this district.
