Hi,

Last week, EARTHDAY‍.ORG announced <[link removed]> the theme for Earth Day 2024: Planet vs. Plastics. We believe this theme embodies the battle we are fighting for human and planetary health.

Today, we’re launching the #PlasticDetox Challenge, to give you the opportunity to join this fight. Through Earth Day and beyond, we’re committing to minimizing our use of single-use plastics and finding alternative, more environmentally friendly solutions.

Finding sustainable solutions is just the first part of this challenge! The second is to share YOUR experiences with EARTHDAY‍.ORG on social media, using the hashtag #PlasticDetox. Post pictures or videos showcasing your plastic-free swaps, DIY projects, or innovative ideas for reducing plastic waste.

As an EARTHDAY.ORG supporter, you are an ambassador for the Earth Day movement. Your example shows others how to reduce their environmental footprint and spreads awareness of the issue. By collectively engaging in the challenge, we hope to create a ripple effect and encourage a meaningful shift towards a plastic-free lifestyle.

Take steps today to make a difference <[link removed]>: Reduce your single-use plastic use, and tell us about it on social media using the hashtag #PlasticDetox. Spread the word about your experiences with your friends, and together we’ll make a difference.

For human and planetary health,

Kathleen Rogers

President
