Alabama was recently told by the Supreme Court that it had to redraw its congressional maps to create a second majority-Black district.

For a usually out-of-control far-right Supreme Court, it was a pleasantly surprising bit of news.

So, what did Alabama Republicans do? They ignored SCOTUS’ order and moved forward with new gerrymandered maps.

Would you please consider chipping in $10 or $25 to defeat Republicans that are gaming the system to stay in power through racist gerrymandering?

As it stands, Alabama has gerrymandered its maps to dilute the voting power of Black Alabamans by only having one majority-Black district.

The GOP uses voter suppression and racist gerrymandering to cling to power, and we need to kick them out of office and DEMAND fair maps.

We need to defeat anti-democracy Republicans up and down the ballot and push for more equitable representation in the places where decisions are made. Will you please donate $10 or $25 to elect more pro-democracy Democrats?

It’s going to take everything we’ve got to put an end to the GOP’s racist gerrymandering.
