John, ever since Donald Trump’s latest indictment – where a grand jury charged him for trying to overturn our 2020 election results – Fox News has been scrambling.
They’re desperate to cover for his lies against our democracy – because they know they’re guilty of spreading the same dangerous conspiracy theories that fueled the deadly January 6th insurrection.
It’s time to stop letting Fox News profit off of their election lies – but unless we seize this moment, Fox will face zero consequences for making billions at our democracy’s expense. Can you add your name to stop Fox News’ lies today?
Fox already paid big to settle a major defamation lawsuit against them earlier this year – giving up $787 million just to dodge a full public account of how they knowingly pushed conspiracy theories and lies about our democracy.
Fox was clearly terrified of what the courts would find – and given their major role in spreading Donald Trump’s Big Lie, they were right to be.
Now, they’re working overtime to cover for Donald Trump – misrepresenting the charges and even defending his plot to overturn our election results and throw out votes as “free speech.” But Trump had his day in court and lost – and it’s nobody’s right to try to stop the peaceful transfer of power.
Worst of all? Fox News is spreading these lies on your dime – even if you don’t watch Fox.
It’s called the “Fox Fee” – where Fox charges cable providers two to three times their actual value, and the cable providers pass that cost onto everyday consumers like you. And every time cable companies go to Fox to renew their contracts, Fox News demands massive rate increases.
John, I don’t want my cable bills going to fund Fox News’ lies. It’s time to send a clear message: we will not foot the bill to undermine American democracy. Tell cable providers to say NO to the Fox Fee.
Thanks for all you do,
