John-

I am leading the fight in Congress against the Mexican drug cartels that are facilitating the border crisis and trafficking deadly fentanyl into our country.

The cartels kill tens of thousands of Americans every year with fentanyl poison that they get from China, and I’m working hard to stop them and save American lives.
As Chairman of the Congressional Cartel Task Force, I am developing solutions to bring the fight to the cartels, target their finances, and hold those who aid and abet them accountable.

I’ve introduced legislation to:

  • Authorize the use of Military force against the Mexican drug cartels.
  • Give law enforcement additional tools to target and seize the cartels’ illicit finances, and use the money we seize to fund border security efforts.
  • Sanction foreign officials who aid and abet cartel activity.

This work has been noticed at the highest levels of the Mexican government, which is notorious for their inaction to stop the cartels. The Mexican President even threatened to campaign against me in my upcoming election because I am going after his cartel donors.

The belligerent attacks from Mexico’s president prove I am targeting my work effectively. I am not backing down, but I will need more resources to fight back against a foreign leader who is trying to interfere in my election.

This is the biggest fight I’ve taken on since coming to Congress… it’s not every day another country’s president targets me specifically. But with the support of patriots like you, I know we can fight back.

Can I count on you?

P.S. Congress is out of session during the month of August. I’m using that time to hear from supporters about the issues they care about and what I should be focusing on when I return to Washington, D.C. There are so many problems to tackle under the failed leadership of Joe Biden, but with your help I can ensure I’m focusing on the issues important to you to get America back on track.
