In Congress, I am proud to serve on the Judiciary Committee. As an attorney, and a life-long advocate for children, women, and families, it is truly my honor to protect the fundamental rights and freedom of all Americans.

But the unfortunate reality is, in this GOP-led Congress, the Judiciary Committee is being used for Chairman Jim Jordan’s cheap political stunts and dangerous attacks on our Constitution. From creating a partisan Subcommittee on the Weaponization of Government to demanding over $18 million to fund the subcommittee with no accountability, Chairman Jim Jordan’s ineffective and extremist style of leadership knows no bounds.

Luckily, my Democratic colleagues on the committee take our role as the last line of defense against Chairman Jordan’s actions seriously. Additionally, we are laser-focused on ensuring we lay a strong foundation to gain a Democratic majority in 2024 and put an end to the GOP brand of leadership.
