PRINCE VACHARAESORN VIVACHARAWONGSE (วัชเรศร วิวัชรวงค์)

Vacharaesorn is the second son of His Majesty King Vajiralongkorn (Rama X) of Thailand. Vacharaesorn primarily serves the Thai communities abroad—devoting his time, strength and resources to assist the Thai diaspora, and making sure those in need are heard. He leaises with governmental agencies, individual ministers, high level contacts and various NGOs to achieve desired goals that benefit Thais living abroad.

Vacharaesorn serves as an ambassador for Thai product export, helping to introduce high quality Thai products to the foreign market. He also serves as chairman of a charitable organizaiton that provide college scholarships to deserving Thai students studying abroad.

Professionally, Vacharaesorn is a corporate and commercial attorney based in New York City. Throughout his legal career, Vacharaesorn has focused his area of practice on risk avoidance, corporate structuring and commercial litigation. He provides comprehensive guidance to multinational corporations seeking to do business in the United States, including the establishment of subsidiaries, establishing commercial partnerships and joint ventures, and developing litigaiton risk avoidance strategies.

Vacharaesorn served as North American Coordinating Counsel for Azimut-Benetti S.p.A., the Italian luxury yacht builder, from 2010 through 2020. He oversaw all commerial, dealership and executive employment contracts, handled compliance, liaised with governmental agencies, and headed-up the litigaiton team. His civil litigation success includes a defense victory for the yacht manufacturer in a matter with potential exposure in the range of more than US$90 million.

Vacharaesorn received an LL.M. degree in International and Comparative Law at the George Washington University School of Law. He also received a Juris Doctor degree from Stetson University. He is licened to practice law in Florida state courts, New York state court, USDC Central District of Illinois, USDC Southern District of Florida, USDC Southern District of New York, and USDC District of Colorado.

He has received the “Super Lawyer” designation by relevant legal publications every year form 2014 through 2020.

United Lao Group is a Lao multinational conglomerate holdings firm that focuses on direct investments in the development of Laos and fulfilling the policies and economic development through international cooperation.

The New York Young Republican Club is the oldest and largest Young Republican club in the United States, incorporated in 1911 with predecessor organizations dating to 1856.

On Saturday, December 9, we will hold our 111th Annual Gala, just as we have done through every major world event, including both World Wars and COVID-19, since our foundation. We are excited to welcome back both members and guests for a black-tie evening featuring Cipriani's signature Bellini upon arrival, an open bar featuring top-shelf liquor, butler-passed hors d’ouvres, and a multi-course French-service dinner as we hear from high-profile national speakers, mingle with honored guests, and discuss opportunities for the advancement of our mission.

The New York Young Republican Club continues to promote the future political leaders of America by advocating for their involvement in local government, as elected officials, and within major political organizations. The Club is officially recognized by the New York State Young Republicans, and Young Republican National Federation, as well as county, state, and national Republican committees.

The New York Young Republican Club was created in 1911 to promote and maintain the principles of the Republican Party. Our mission since then has been:
