It's all anyone in Arizona is talking about: this summer's extreme heat that's been burning up our state.
As someone who has spent years studying Arizona's water policy, I know exactly how devastating this heat wave really is. We're losing precious water supply to evaporation, and the drier our soil is, the more difficult it will be to replenish it.
To address the water crisis, we need to address the climate crisis.
But now, Republicans in the pockets of oil corporations are voting to slash funding for critical climate programs — like my opponent, Juan Ciscomani.

I unpack what all of this means in my new opinion piece in the Arizona Daily Star. If you'd like, you can read it here [[link removed]] .
Ciscomani has voted to slash billions of dollars that would go to investing in clean energy projects, supporting underserved and rural communities, and putting money back in the pockets of taxpayers.
Arizona deserves better than this.
In office, I'll fight for the best interests of people in Arizona's Sixth Congressional District — not of fossil fuel corporations. But to win this race, I need your support. Can I count on you to donate now? [[link removed]]

[link removed] [[link removed]] Kirsten is a mom, an environmental attorney, and a former State Legislator who has spent the past six years fighting to restore funding to public schools, protect Arizona's natural resources, and make our communities safer.
She’s ready to take that fight to Washington to find common-sense solutions to the challenges we’re facing here in Arizona's Sixth Congressional District.
In 2022, Kirsten lost her race by one of the smallest margins in the country. Will you make sure she can build a winning campaign early by chipping in now? [[link removed]]
