Governor's Executive Order: WHAT IS A WOMAN? Published Monday, August 6, 2023 AT THE HISTORY CENTER THIS WEDNESDAY DR. LAUREN SCHWARTZ Throughout America and in Oklahoma, adults are perpetrating unthinkable surgical atrocities on physically healthy children. American youth are being permanently disfigured as victims of an ideologically driven information tsunami wreaking havoc on Oklahoma soil and intent on the destruction of a once God-fearing and freedom-loving nation of proud Americans. Last Tuesday, Governor Stitt held a press conference issuing an Executive Order which answers the question asked by Matt Walsh which quite a few university academics in gender studies could not answer: What is a woman? Dr. Lauren Schwartz is an outspoken opponent of the misinformation being distributed by those motivated by politics and economics. Sex is not “assigned at birth,” but, rather “discovered” at, or before, birth. It is a proven fact that sex is set at the point of conception. Dr. Schwartz has collaborated with Dr. Miriam Grossman, a nationally-recognized leader in the war against medical child abuse. Dr. Schwartz is a contributor of two of the appendices of Dr. Grossman’s new book, Lost In Trans Nation: A Child Psychiatrist’s Guide Out of the Madness. In addition ... VIA BIG SCREEN VIDEO CONGRESSIONAL TESTIMONY Dr. Grossman testified before congress on June 14, 2023 in a well-reasoned rebuttal of the unsubstantiated “testimony” of radical leftist and advocate of child mutilation, Dr. Meredithe McNamara of Yale School of Medicine. The U.S. Congressman from Texas, Dan Crenshaw, finished the job. The political radical from Yale, Dr. McNamara, told the Congressional Hearing Committee that: Gender-affirming care is the only evidence-based treatment for gender dysphoria, a condition that reflects a discordance between one’s gender identity and sex assigned at birth. It was a statement which, under cross-examination by Dan Crenshaw, she could not document with reference to any medical journal or study. In the end, the leftist was left speechless. We will hear the recorded rebuttal by Dr. Grossman of the congressional testimony of leftist Meredithe McNamara this Wednesday at our luncheon in the Oklahoma History Center’s Centennial Room. The order described, in technical terms, the defining nature of men and women. The psychosis of 21st century academia has penetrated the minds of little boys and girls with a cancer-like dementia. It has permanently devastated thousands physically, mentally, and emotionally. We are witnessing cultural suicide bankrolled by our private educational tax dollars. Dr. Carl Trueman’s The Rise and Triumph of the Modern Self has been described as a brilliant work of immense academic significance. The origins of Trueman’s book lie in his wonderment about how it has come to be regarded as both coherent and meaningful for a man to say, “I am a woman trapped in a man’s body.” As he began his research, he thought of his grandfather who would never have heard the concept and would have “burst out laughing and considered it to be incoherent gibberish.” When Dr. Miriam Grossman testified before the U.S. Congress recently, she stated that biological sex is known at conception. To say that sex is assigned at birth is a myth intended to promote political and economic objectives. Dr. Miriam Grossman's Lost in Trans Nation implores parents to reject advice of gender experts and trust their guts. Throughout our country, atrocities are taking place in doctor’s offices and hospital operating rooms. Physically healthy children and adolescents are being permanently disfigured and sometimes sterilized. Those youth say they’re transgender, and we—their parents, teachers, therapists, and doctors—are supposed to agree with their self-diagnosis and take a back seat as they make the most consequential decision of their lives: to alter their bodies in order to, we are told, “align” them with their minds. Medical, educational, and government authorities advise us to support the “gender journeys” of still developing kids, including medical interventions with poor evidence of long-term improvement. This would not be acceptable in any other field of medicine. Indeed, the treatments our medical authorities and Washington call “crucial” and “life-saving” have been banned in progressive Sweden, Finland, and Britain. Dr. Miriam Grossman is a child and adolescent psychiatrist whose practice consists of trans-identified youth and their families. In Lost in Trans Nation, she implores parents to reject the advice of gender experts and politicians and trust their guts—their parental instincts—in the face of an onslaught of ideologically driven misinformation that steers them and their children toward risky decisions they may end up mourning for the rest of their lives. The beliefs that male and female are human inventions; that the sex of a newborn is arbitrarily “assigned”; and that as a result the child requires “affirmation” through medical interventions—these ideas are divorced from reality and therefore hazardous, especially to children. The core belief—that biology can and should be denied—is a repudiation of reality and a mockery of what hard science teaches about being male and female. Dr. Grossman believes that parents know their child best; they especially know if they have a son or daughter. But currently in our country when it comes to gender identity, everyone knows better than mom and dad. Schools enable students to live double lives—Patrick at home, Patti at school. Activists tell kids their loving homes are “unsafe” when parents voice doubts about the child’s new identity. For refusing to see their son as their daughter, parents might be reported to protective services, a development that can lead to a family’s destruction. Lost in Trans Nation arms parents with the ammunition to avoid, or, if necessary, fight what many families describe as the most difficult challenge of their lives. Parents will learn what to say and how—at home, at school, and if necessary, to police when they appear at the door. “Don’t be blindsided like so many parents I know,” warns Grossman, “be proactive and get educated. Feel prepared and confident to discuss trans, nonbinary, or whatever your child brings to the dinner table.” Whether it’s the “trans is as common as red hair” claim, or the “I’m not your son, I’m your daughter” proclamation, or the “do you prefer a live son or a dead daughter’ threat, says Grossman, no family is immune, and every parent must be prepared. No child is born in the wrong body, Dr. Grossman reassures us, their bodies are just fine; it’s their emotional lives that need healing. Academia must be challenged without fear of being labeled by the many monikers of the vacuous political radicals who have a litany of claims and phrases but no substance.
