We wanted to give you a quick recap of Trump’s visit to our district yesterday. As expected, it devolved pretty quickly into one of his signature rallies.

He lobbed insults, doubled-down on his attacks on our state, but he also heaped praise on our opponent David Valadao.

There’s one reason why Trump is so excited about Valadao’s possible comeback: Before we unseated him, Valadao voted with Trump 98% of the time in Congress -- including with his vote to destroy the Affordable Care Act.

Valadao tries to hide it, but the truth is he’s a Trump loyalist to his core.

It’s our job to remind voters why we rejected him in the first place. That’s going to take resources, and it’s why we once again need to ask:

Can you chip in $3 to help us fight back? Unlike Valadao, we’re not taking any corporate PAC money, nor are we taking our marching orders from Trump.

Make no mistake, this visit will translate into a huge financial boost for Valadao.

But as long as we stand together when it counts -- like it does right now -- we can push back against the flood of outside money and win.
