$600,000 Matching Gift Challenge
Dear Friend,

Our $600,000 Matching Gift Challenge is in full swing, and compassionate supporters from across the country have rallied behind us.

But I don't believe we've heard from you yet, and your contribution is vital if we're going to achieve this challenge. Dedicated supporters, Dick and Marianne Kipper, have pledged to match every donation we receive by September 30 — up to $600,000 — but only if we can also raise that amount by our deadline. Though we're getting closer, we're still a long way from unlocking this crucial match.

You've shown how much our work means to you by joining our Alzheimer's Association community — and now we need your support.

Will you help us reach our goal, friend?

The Kipper's gift will help fund Alzheimer's disease research, while your first donation can be matched to help provide care and support resources for those impacted by Alzheimer's, while accelerating research. That's especially meaningful right now and here's why:

We are entering an exciting era in the fight to end Alzheimer's. There are two Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-approved treatments available that can reduce cognitive and functional decline for some people living with early Alzheimer's.

By slowing the progression of the disease, individuals will have more time to participate in daily life and live independently. While not cures, these breakthrough treatments could mean more months of someone recognizing their spouse, children and grandchildren.

Early detection and diagnosis are critical. Every day, people watch more loved ones and friends transition to a more advanced stage of the disease where they are no longer eligible for existing treatments. And millions more — at all stages of the disease — need help getting the life-changing treatment, care and support they deserve.

Everyone living with this devastating disease deserves access to treatments that may help them. However, many still face barriers of cost, coverage or even lack of knowledge. We're working every day to remove those barriers — and ensure resources are available to help people better understand the disease, cope with its challenges and make informed decisions.

But we can't do it alone.

We need the help of compassionate people like you, friend. Chances are good that you, like me, have experienced the devastation of Alzheimer's in your own community, and with people you know and care about. You understand that it's never been more urgent to fight this cruel disease with everything we have. That's why I'm asking you to make your first gift today — while your donation can go twice as far.

Join Our $600,000 Matching Gift Challenge and see how far your gift can go.
$16 can become $32.
$30 can become $60.
$50 can become $100.
Double my impact now.

Each new breakthrough brings hope to individuals and families affected by this devastating disease. That's what your generosity can make possible.

You can help our efforts to expand access to these potentially life-changing FDA-approved treatments. Please show your support while it can go TWICE as far to advance our mission to lead the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.
