Transparency will be crucial in the trials of the United States of America v. Donald Trump — which could begin in a matter of months.

If Americans from both political parties are to accept the outcome, it will be vitally important for them to witness, as directly as possible, the full facts and evidence.

That’s why dozens of my colleagues joined me in urging that these proceedings be broadcast to the public.
