Ahead of the 2024 elections, right-wing groups have put together a plan called “Project 2025.” It’s a plan to kneecap the progress we’ve made combatting climate change, and it’s designed to go into effect immediately if Republicans take back control of the federal government.

Their plan would be a disaster for our planet, team. According to one report, Project 2025 would “block the expansion of the electrical grid for wind and solar energy… shutter the Energy Department’s renewable energy offices… and delegate more regulation of polluting industries to Republican state officials.”

This plan is a perfect example of how the far-right keeps the dark money rolling in. They announce giveaways to the fossil fuel industry and in return, the fossil fuel industry pours money into Republican campaigns to try to make the plan reality. We can’t let that happen.
